Pack your bikini and hit Aruba for New Years Eve in the sunshine. This is the place to be for some serious R&R and fantastic New Years Eve celebrations.

This stunning Dutch-Caribbean island offers you a wide range of activities from sunset cruises, kite surfing, diving and snorkelling to off road tours on ATVs and shopping sprees.

But first and foremost, there are the glorious beaches, including Palm Beach, Eagle Beach and Manchebo Beach all with white sands and palm trees that will make you want to sit back, relax and take some time to just chill out.

Take to the water for a charter boat tour, relax on a luxury yacht or for the fun loving, perhaps even take to a pirate ship for the afternoon.

Get your hiking boots on and get exploring in Arikok National Park, see the Fontein and Quadiriki caves and marvel at the stunning scenery from Boca Prins.

Golfers do not fear, you can get your clubs out and have a round or two at one of the Islands stunning golf courses. There are two 9 hole courses and one 18 hole course. Try out Links at Divi Aruba.

There are a few museums to be explored including the Museum of Antiquities that houses Louis XV antiques. If you're a railway enthusiast make your way to the Aruba Model Train Museum and for a look into Aruba's history then the Archaeological Museum is for you.

New Years Eve Beach Parties

Aruba certainly loves to party over the New Year and there will be lots of beach parties to choose from with DJs and fireworks going off across the island and people having a great time as they see in the New Year.

Check out Moomba Beach Bar, which is a popular place for celebrating New Years Eve especially amongst 20 somethings, there is a DJ, dancing on the beach and it's a great spot to watch the fireworks.

NYE Fireworks

If you don't like planned parties and want something more low key then head up to the lighthouse with your bottle of champers for a stunning view of the fireworks.

Some other top spots for seeing the fireworks is anywhere close to the Marriott or Hyatt, just take yourself to the beach and stroll along the sand and watch the night burst into light. The beaches attract a lot of people so it will be quite busy but not overwhelmingly so.
