If you're in Geneva over the festive season then it makes sense to take the opportunity to enjoy the sights - for grand architecture then you need to go visit the Cathedrale Saint-Pierre, particularly the Chapel of the Maccabees, in the Old Town. If you're a shop-a-holic, then perhaps I shouldn't mention Rue du Rhône, with Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Chopard, Prada, Tiffany & Co and not forgetting Gucci, a luxury shoppers paradise! For something more festive head to the Christmas Markets at Place de la Fusterie, Carouge Christmas Market, Rue du Mont-Blanc and Jardin Anglais.
The main event is held at Quai du Mont-Blanc, with live music and a great spot for the fireworks from Grand Hotel Kempinski. With food and drinks available from stands! The music on the Rotunda will be on from 7.30pm to 3am, a great party atmosphere.
If you want something a little low key then, grab your own bottle of bubbly and take a walk down to the lakeside or onto Pont du Mont Blanc to watch the fireworks. Full schedule, once released, available here.
