Over the years I have read so many books with Virginia at it's heart, albeit
most of them are from Patricia Cornwell, but the description of this
state have always given me a sense of romance, from its tree lined
streets to the snow capped mountains.
Virginia, rich in
culture and heritage, is a south eastern state with Richmond as its'
capital, stretching from the Chesapeake Bay all the way to the
Appalachian Mountains.
This is the kind of place that I
would love to visit, locations like Richmond, Virginia Beach,
Charlottesville, Chesapeake, Lexingon etc. I would be hard pressed
to pick one particular place, but Richmond is probably top of my
list, purely because I'm a Scarpetta fan!
Virginia is a hotbed of events come New Year and boasts First Night celebrations across the state, so depending where you are, head to these locations to join in the entertainment, including live music, kids entertainment, street performers and so much more, in an alcohol free environment which is perfect for family friendly festivities.
